Material Selection
Selecting the Wood
The process begins with selecting suitable pine wood for the intended form, proportions and character of the piece.

The Making of a Signature
From the first selection of wood to the final quality check, each creation passes through a considered sequence of preparation, construction, finishing and detailing.

Behind the Finished Piece
16 considered stages.
Handcrafted wooden products carry the evidence of material, judgement and repeated refinement. Our process is designed to build quality gradually rather than rely on a single finishing step at the end.
Our Craftsmanship Process
Four chapters.
Sixteen considered stages.
Material
Selection, inspection and careful preparation establish the foundation before the piece begins to take form.

Material Selection
The process begins with selecting suitable pine wood for the intended form, proportions and character of the piece.

Material Inspection
Grain, surface character and individual features of the wood are examined before it moves further into production.

Initial Preparation
The raw surface is prepared carefully so small irregularities can be refined before shaping and finishing begin.

Machine Sanding
Controlled sanding creates a cleaner and more consistent foundation while preserving the natural warmth and grain of the wood.
Form
Precision cutting, refinement, branding, protection and assembly bring the individual components together.

Precision Cutting
Components are measured and cut with attention to proportion, alignment and the clean geometry required for assembly.

Pre-Assembly Sanding
Individual pieces are refined again before joining, making difficult-to-reach surfaces easier to finish with greater control.

Brand Marking
Brand details are applied with careful placement so the identity feels integrated into the creation rather than added as an afterthought.

Masking
Selected areas are protected before the next workshop stages to help maintain cleaner edges and controlled surface treatment.
Finish
After assembly, the surface is prepared and refined through the stages that build the final finish.

Assembly & Clamping
Prepared components are aligned, joined and held securely while the structure settles into its final form.

Post-Assembly Sanding
Once assembled, the piece is sanded again to refine joints, edges and transitions into a more unified surface.

Sanding Sealer
Sanding sealer helps prepare the wood for the finishing stages while maintaining the character and visible grain of the material.

Between-Coat Sanding
Fine sanding between finishing stages helps create a smoother, more controlled surface before the next layer is applied.
Signature Details
Finishing layers, decorative work, hardware and final inspection bring the complete creation together.

PU Polish
The final finishing layers are applied with care to protect the surface while keeping the natural wood grain visually present.

Cutwork Detailing
The decorative cutwork element is finished separately and brought together with the wooden lid frame as part of the final design.

Hardware Fitting
Hinges and other required hardware are positioned and fitted carefully so movement, alignment and presentation work together.

Quality Inspection
Before a creation is considered ready, its alignment, finish, hardware, presentation and overall detailing are inspected as a complete piece.
Made by Hand
Wood is a natural material, so grain, knots, tone and subtle handcrafted details can vary from one creation to another. Those differences are part of the individual character of the finished piece.
A Note on Craftsmanship
No two pieces of natural wood tell exactly the same story.
